Boarding

We currently offer Retirement Board and Hoof Rehabilitation Board only at this time - please call to check for availability or to be put on our waiting list.

We are the best of both worlds - our barn is a fun, laid back, safe, clean, comfortable place with the high quality care you would expect from a top show barn, without the high price.

Retirement Board is generally for the retired show horse who needs to take it easy, but who is used to the show horse life.  While we do our best to help them adjust to turnout, herd life, weather, etc, we understand that your horse has probably been kept inside a lot, clipped and blanketed, turned out alone, etc for a long time.
Retirement board is full service - meaning you can trust that every single aspect of your horse's care is taken care of whether you are here or not.  It includes regular full care board, plus scheduling the farrier and vet, regular deworming, regular grooming, mane pulling, and whisker/bridlepath clipping.  If your horse needs extra care, such as legs wrapped, we will take care of everything for a small fee.   $450/month

Hoof Rehabilitation Board includes regular full care board plus all hoof trimming, daily soaking and handwalking, as well as regular grooming.  $575/month
X-Rays, massage, and chiropractic work are not included.  These services are not optional and will be billed as applied.

We also offer Ground Training Board for horses of all ages, from weanlings on up. We teach basic manners - we believe that every horse should lead politely and respectfully in any circumstance, clip, tie, load, stand for the farrier, etc... Whether you have a baby who needs their first introduction to being handled, or you're having issues with your older horse on the ground we can help. Older horses just needing a reminder about their manners generally stay for one month, foals or unhandled horses usually stay 2-3 months. We strive to develop each horse's personality to help them become happy and confident horses that enjoy learning and want to please. We can also help teach you, the owner, to work with your horse with consistency and common sense to ensure your horse not only leaves with good manners, but keeps them throughout their lifetime. $500/month.
