Horses Available For Sale:

Sadie's Secret will be two in August, 2010. She is reluctantly offered for sale as we haven't much time to work with her and don't foresee that changing any time soon. Secret recently scored a 72.5 under an "L" judge at her first dressage show in hand.  She is by a 13.2 Fell Pony stallion (Littletree Born Supremacy aka Jason) and out of a 14.2 Arabian/Quarter Horse mare (La Sylphide aka Sadie). Secret has potential to excel in any discipline - she has nice movement that could probably do well either in hunters or dressage. She enjoys jumping all of her own accord when she is in the arena, and has been known to jump logs in the field just for the fun of it. She is very quiet and very brave... I think she would make an amazing three day event pony - she has the attitude and athleticism.
She has excellent manners for a yearling and has a very pleasant attitude - she likes people and is used to kids, dogs, cars, tractors, etc... She straight ties or crossties, clips, loads, etc... Please e-mail flyingheartsfarm@yahoo.com for more photos. Sire's website: www.stableways.com/jason.html
Offered at $2,000

Amelie
is a 3 year old Haflinger mare (will be 4 spring of 2010).  She stands roughly 14.2 and she has a lot of bone.  She is currently in foal to a Haflinger stallion and is due this spring.  She is green broke to ride (can walk/halt/steer, sort of).  She is one of the quietest horses I've ever worked with and has a lot of potential - she is going to be a really lovely mare for someone!  Would make an excellent child's or beginners horse with mileage - she's exceptionally laid back and kind.  Asking $1,500 obo.

Con Brio is free to a good home as a pasture companion only.  He is a very fancy 5 year old chestnut warmblood gelding by Hall of Fame out of our own Minerva.  He tore a tendon at age two and recovered enough to be lightly started under saddle at 4, however at this point I am looking for a non riding home for him.  He can not be on large steep hills or he will aggravate his injury (we found out the hard way), however he is 100% sound on flat or gently rolling pasture.  He is good in a stall or out 24/7.  He is easy to handle and he really, really loves being groomed, petted, and loved on.  He is good with other horses and has been turned out with everything from minis to mares to babies to drafts.  I would also entertain a free lease if you do not want to keep him long term (need a buddy for a weaned baby, horse on layup, etc).  Please contact me for more information at flyingheartsfarm@yahoo.com.
